Abstract

Protozoan parasites of Pyroplasma, due to the illness and death of domestic animals, and the importance of the transfer of some of its genus and species to humans, cause many economic and health damages around the world it turns out. Diseases caused by Theileria and Babesia every year in different parts of our country during the spring and summer season with the beginning of the season, even in early autumn, prevalent in domestic animals. The purpose of this study was to determine the prevalence of blood parasites in susceptible cows in jaundice in Torbat Jam city. This study was conducted in spring and summer of 1394 on 210 suspected yellow fevered cattle in this city. After the clinical examination and observation of clinical signs, he developed blood from the vein to examine the parasites. The blood spread was stained with Giemsa color and studied by optical microscope. The results of this study showed that 36% of the studied cows were infected with Theileria and 6% infected with Babesia and 10% infected with Anaplasma and 8% of the infected Theileria and Anaplasma were observed. Therefore, in view of the presence of blood parasites in the region of the cows and the importance of arthropods in their transmission, it is possible to combat these arthropods in order to control the above-mentioned contaminations, in addition to treating suspected contaminated animals.
